Will Kamala Harris become the next US president?

I asked the question this way to avoid complications such as her winning the popular vote but failing to win the college or the Supreme Court overturning the result.

First Mother, Puella; Second Mother, Carcer; Third Mother, Conjunctio; Fourth Mother, Cauda Draconis.

The court is highly favourable, with the left witness being carcer, the right witness Amissio and the Judge being Fortuna Major. The only issue is that the Judge favours Carcer, which is terrible for the future. The sentence, however, is Laetitia, meaning there will be some short-term happiness.

Harris is Puella, which is Venus. She is fairly happy and charismatic. She is in partnership with Carcer, which should keep her focused and nailed down. This fits the image that she and her Vice President pushed at the Democratic convention.

The 10th house of government is Laetitia, which means happiness or Joy. This is good for the question. A modern geomancer might have some problems here as this house lacks perfection, which means “no” to the question. However, Cattan would disagree.

One interesting thing is that Harris moves to the seventh house of relationships and enemies. This might mean that she has to make a deal with someone to achieve her agenda. It will be a good partnership, possibly with a woman. In some cases, this means that a person can be their own worst enemy.

On the whole, this is a positive chart, there are some things to be concerned about.  The fourth house of endings has the malefic cauda, which means ending and this is also in Harris’s house of wishes.  I do not think that this enough to say no, when the court, sentence and the rest of the chart seem to be saying yes.

It is a fast and mobile chart, which means things will happen quickly.

Will Donald Trump become the next US president?

First Mother Amissio;  Second Mother Populus; Third Mother Acquisitio; Fourth Mother Cauda Draconis.

The Left Witness is Tristitia; the Right Witness is Cauda Draconis, and the Judge is Via.

The court is bad for the question, although the weak and mobile Via Judge favours Trump. That suggests an ending that is not very good for him either.

Trump is Amissio, which means loss, and the election is Rubeus, which is a bad figure. Normally, I would say no, he lost. However, there are a few things here to consider.

He moves to the third, ninth, and 11th houses, which gives him a double conjunction with the election. Usually, that would say yes, but both the election and are bad figures. In other words, he certainly loses but could somehow prevent that loss.

Cattan says that in situations like this, it can mean that he obtains what he wants only after contention and Dischord. He moves into the ninth house (the house of the courts) and the 11th house, which is the house of wishes and friends.  It looks like he attempts to overthrow the elected government using the courts and his cronies.

However, it does not look like he quite manages it as he has actually lost and all he is doing is distributing that loss.

If you look at the seventh house, which is the house of his rivals, they have a good figure of Puella.  This moves to the fifth and 12th houses.

Then we have this strange Cauda Draconis ending, which we saw with the Harris reading.

Trump has few good figures going for him and while he is moving, he is only distributing more loss to those houses. (In fact, it could be read that association with Trump could cause a loss to his friends and the courts).

Combat reading

Who will win the 2024 US presidential election?

This is a combat reading, a method medieval geomancers used to predict who would win wars. It does work well when applied to competitions and elections, with the “battleground” being the house fought over.  I gave Kamala Harris the first house with the flip of a coin as it does not matter.

The court describes the war with the first house being the “your candidate” and the seventh house the political rival. The 10th house is the office, and the 11th house is the allies (in this case, the voters).

The court is average and does not give many clues. Harris is younger and in a more aggressive position (puer); however, this is not a good figure.  Trump is Conjunctio mainly in a position of being all talk (this is a neutral figure).  Neither of them works in companionship with anyone.

Trump appears nowhere in the chart. However, Harris moves to the eighth house, which is weird (unless she dies). In war, this normally means that there is a truce or an agreement, but it is confusing.  In fact, a medical geomancer might say that Harris conducted a successful war and forced terms on Trump.

The office is Via, which is not a good figure; however, the electorate is Fortuna Major, forming a weak translation for Harris.

So, in this conflict reading, Harris has a slight advantage over Trump. It might be interesting to suggest that she tells him after the election to pack in all his election court cases in return for abandoning all the other cases against him.
